Family is the people who love you, no matter who you love.
H&M is proud to support the LGBTQIA+ community and all chosen families today, tomorrow, and every day. We support the LGBQTIA+ community 365 days a year.

For the second year in a row, we are celebrating chosen families. These families go beyond biological bonds and instead are centered around the people who choose to lift you up, and who you choose to lift and celebrate. While this isn’t a concept exclusive to the LGBTQIA+ community, it’s undeniably intertwined with the queer experience, and something worth championing. We support the LGBTQIA+ community 365 days a year.

Here are some of the organizations we choose to support:

The Marsha P. Johnson Institute works to protect and defend the human rights of Black transgender people. Named in honor of LGBTQ+ trailblazer and Black trans activist Marsha P. Johnson, The Marsha P. Johnson Institute (MPJI) seeks to eradicate systemic, community, and physical violence that silences the community from actualizing freedom, joy, and safety.

We are proud to announce our third year of partnership with The Marsha P. Johnson Institute (MPJI). Together, we strive to create a more equitable and just society and support marginalized communities, while celebrating the resilience and joy within the LGBTQ+ community. Pride is 365 days a year, and this June we are celebrating, while continuing to advocate against regressive policies that seek to restrict and erase the rights of transgender people.

The Trevor Project: Stories of Pride, the Power of Us

The Trevor Project is the leading suicide prevention organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people.

H&M is proud to partner with The Trevor Project and ensure every LGBTQ young person feels the power of an affirming community. Stories of Pride: The Power of Us celebrates LGBTQ young people and those who support them, because when they see places where they can belong or people advocating for them, it has life-saving impact.

In our fourth year of partnership, H&M is matching donations to The Trevor Project up to $150,000 this June 14-16, in support of The Trevor Project’s crisis services. Amid this unprecedented wave of anti-LGBTQ+ policies, we proudly stand with every queer young person.
